Dr Elizabeth Adams
As a coach, Elizabeth has worked with individuals and teams from Higher Education, the third sector and private companies ranging from microbusinesses to multi-nationals. Coaching topics included leadership, career development, networking skills, work-life balance, collaboration and workplace relationships. I’m a member of the EMCC and adhere to their code of ethics.
She has over 15 years of experience working in career and professional development support, in Universities and as an external consultant. She has worked with several UK HEIs of all sizes over the past few years, supporting researcher development and culture, with the focus ranging from understanding departmental values, to institutional culture strategies, implementing narrative CVs and tackling bullying and harassment.
Whilst working at the University of Glasgow, Elizabeth helped to establish its Lab for Academic Culture and delivered projects to understand and advance the institution’s research culture, as well as influence national policy and practice.
Elizabeth has a PhD in Chemistry and is a Chartered Manager.
